Behind the first formula

The First Formula is a sequence of objects. It is not a dossier, and it is not a lab report.

Overhead still life of paper, a dark bottle, and a steel ruler.

Collections usually arrive as a finished wall of products. This one arrives as a question: what are the three objects a house actually needs before it starts promising?

Formula 001 is a rinse. Formula 002 is a cream. Formula 003 is the watery step between them. The names are plain because the roles are plain. Daily Reset. The Barrier. Skin Condition. None of those names is a result.

The ingredient panels on the product pages are marked placeholder. There is no INCI list to defend, no fragrance allergen to disclose, no stability data to summarize. Publishing a fictional composition would make the prototype look finished. It is not.

What can be designed now is the behavior of the brand around a formula: the shop, the bag, the country switch, the sentence under the price that says the number is illustrative. The commercial path should feel serious even while the cosmetic does not exist.

When a real bench takes over, this journal entry should be rewritten. Until then it is a record of restraint — the decision to show the gap instead of filling it with science costume.
